In the fall of 2018, lone sailor, Randall Reeves, departed San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge in an attempt to circumnavigate both the American and Antarctic continents in a single season. No one had done this before. No one had even tried.
This grueling route took Randall and his vessel, Moli, into all five of the world's oceans, twice around Cape Horn and through the icy waters of the Arctic's Northwest Passage on a 384-day odyssey of some 40,000 miles.
The present volume--a coffee-table-style picture book--tells the story of the Figure 8 Voyage through the images Randall sent back to "virtual voyagers" in his daily reports from sea.
